THE CROWN UNDER PARTIAL

Image
We often receive cases in the lab where a crown needs to be fabricated under an existing partial. Next comes the question,
'What's the best way to get there?' Well, there are 3 main ways - the choice is yours!
We've made a video to assist in easy and accurate crown under partial results. Check it out!

Plan your Smile with Diagnostic Wax Ups by Drake Dental Laboratory

Image
YOU SHOULD WAX!Diagnostic Wax Ups are a great way to treatment plan full mouth, full arch, or several unit spans for you and your patient.

Before the commitment is made, why not have a visual aide?

The wax up can be canted, lengthened, changed, and discussed until it is clinically and aesthetically ready to be made into a permanent restoration. The Wax Ups serve as a blueprint, and a patient-dentist-lab communication - all of this provides confidence and assurance in the final investment.

One of our talented technicians let us video his process. Not only do we get a sneak peek at his talent, be we get to see the before model and the after mock-up!

From Janitor to Owner; Advice from Billy Drake

Image
Billy Drake, CDT, started in the lab industry as a janitor. Before that, he was a worm farmer!  He was determined to learn a  dental trade.  As it turns out, he had natural skills at the bench. Billy delivered cases, managed a department, and eventually bought the lab! He worked his way up to his current 30,000 square foot building, and uses it to extend those same circumstances of growth and opportunity to others.

What does Mr. Drake say about his business model that can transcend the lab industry? Check out the video above or LISTEN HERE  >
